Christopher “Chris” Wasson – Lead Pastor
Chris Wasson is our lead pastor at Old Union Baptist Church. He and his wife Nichole have two beautiful children, Valarie and Bradley. Pastor Chris has a long history of serving others including the time he served in the U.S. Army where he was deployed to Korea and Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan, Chris suffered injuries that forced him to retire. It was during this difficult time that Pastor Chris received his call into ministry. He attended The Baptist College of Florida and has served in ministry for over 7 years. He became the official lead pastor at Old Union Baptist Church at the beginning of 2020. Pastor Chris is very passionate about providing messages that inspire faithful followers to reach the lost to lead more people to Christ.
