VBS 2024
Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible?
At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday lives.

Through Operation Christmas Child, we aim to share the spirit of giving and the joy of Christmas with children who may have never experienced the magic of receiving a gift. Each year, our congregation generously donates shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and heartfelt messages of encouragement. These shoeboxes, filled with love and care, travel across the globe to reach children in need, reminding them that they are cherished and not forgotten. Our support for Operation Christmas Child reflects our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others, and we are excited to continue spreading the joy of the season with this meaningful project. Join us in this heartwarming endeavor, and let’s make this Christmas a truly special one for children in need!
Real Momentum
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Real Momentum Ministries, an organization dedicated to empowering men with the message of the gospel and fostering spiritual growth. Together, Old Union Baptist Church and Real Momentum are joining forces, along with three other local churches, to reach the men of the CRSA community. This collaboration represents our shared commitment to transforming lives through faith and community outreach. Through Real Momentum’s impactful programs and resources, we aim to inspire and equip men to become faithful followers of Christ, impacting not only their own lives but also their families and communities.
This partnership exemplifies our church’s dedication to serving our community and spreading the message of hope and redemption. We believe that by working together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of men and their families, guiding them toward spiritual growth and fulfillment.
